Our floodgates

THOMAS has designed and constructed different models of floodgates for dams, canals, hydraulic centres, water inlets, etc since 1935 and has constructed over 6000 units.

Water is our reason for being

Imagining a world without water is impossible for most of the planet's inhabitants. In THOMAS for many years we have researched and developed new floodgate systems and mechanised elements for dams and canals, with the aim of improving and rationing the use of water.

In each particular case, we design and construct taking into account the needs of our clients, with whom we are willing to collaborate in order to achieve a satisfactory supply.

  Obtained by the use of stainless steel, self-lubricating bearings, maintenance ball and socket joints, watertight seals based on synthetic flexible materials and other state-of-the-art materials.
• Rustproof finishes
  Made in our own facilities. A correct painting processes in accordance with the Swedish SIS regulation. This guarantees a long-lasting protection, even in very harsh conditions.
• Quality Control
  Undertaken systematically on manufacturing processes and materials following previously established "protocols and programs for points of inspection" (PPI).
